Waterproofing In Holland Park

DAMPSTAR was called in to investigate persistent leaks onto a ceiling in a basement bedroom. Even though the leak was quite localised it was imperative that the waterproofing was applied to the entire area to ensure a complete seal.

We first lifted the existing paving and removed rubble off site. All joints and corners were treated with a specialised sealer. The area was then coated with a three layer waterproofing system.

 

Finally, a waterproof screed was applied and levelled to ensure proper drainage once the new tiles are installed.

Once the final layer had set, we flooded the area to check for leaks and the result was an outright success with all leaks completely stopped. DAMPSTAR laid new tiles and issued a guarantee to the client.
